Within the framework of the<\/span> Recovery and Resilience Plan<\/span><\/strong> , the<\/span> Institute for Higher Education (IES, IP)<\/span> assumes the role of Intermediate Beneficiary in the management of the STEAM Youth Boost, Adult Boost, and MAIS Digital Boost programs<\/strong> , as well as the National Plan for Accommodation in Higher Education<\/strong> . It is the body responsible for the physical and financial implementation of the PRR investments in Higher Education. It is also responsible for providing the administrative and logistical support necessary for the operation and activities of the National Council for Pedagogical Innovation in Higher Education.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Impulse Programs<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The<\/span> Impulso Jovens STEAM<\/span> and<\/span> Impulso Adultos<\/span><\/strong> programs<\/span> aim to support initiatives developed by higher education institutions, in partnership or consortium with companies, public and\/or private employers, and including local, regional and national municipalities and public entities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> STEAM Youth Impulse<\/span><\/strong> aims to promote and support initiatives focused exclusively on increasing higher education enrollment among young people in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics<\/span> ,<\/span> through the provision of bachelor's degrees and other initial higher education training.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Adult Impulse program<\/span><\/strong> aims to support the conversion and upgrading of skills among active adults through short-term training courses in higher education, at both entry-level and postgraduate levels, across all fields of knowledge, as well as lifelong learning.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Impulso Mais Digital<\/span><\/strong> Program<\/span> aims to stimulate the modernization of the higher education network, with an emphasis on key areas for the country's resilience and the increase of skills in society and businesses, particularly in digital and technological areas, through a greater number of training opportunities offered by Higher Education Institutions and a greater number of young people and adults trained and requalified, reinforcing and accelerating the implementation of the " Impulso Jovens STEAM e Adultos<\/strong> " programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also aims to modernize pedagogical practices in higher education, with a view to promoting academic success, reducing dropout rates and improving student well-being, as well as technological updating and modernization of training conditions, promoting sustainable agriculture, improving health systems, the green transition and environmental sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n
