Management and implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education and training, including mobility, scholarships, partnerships and national coordination of the Europass Initiative.

Coordination and technical support for the recognition processes of foreign higher education degrees and diplomas, including support for the Commission for the Recognition of Foreign Degrees and Diplomas; management and coordination of the ENIC/NARIC Portugal Center;

Supporting the internationalization of institutions through partnerships, networks, external promotion, and strengthening international attractiveness.

Management and technical analysis of institutional processes, registration of study cycles and training programs, and dissemination of information with technical support to higher education institutions.

Safekeeping, preservation, and issuance of academic documentation relating to closed higher education institutions.

Technical and specialized support to the government official responsible for education and to the services and entities in the area of higher education, and coordination of the interpretation and harmonization of specific legal regimes and procedures, in conjunction with the DGAEP (Directorate-General for Public Administration and Employment).
