Management and monitoring of student support measures, including scholarships, social support and measures to promote equity, and support for accommodation support measures in higher education.

Access to Higher Education

Coordination and management of actions related to access and entry into higher education through the various access schemes to different training programs, ensuring the management and maintenance of the single digital platform for access and academic pathways, and supporting the National Commission for Access to Higher Education (CNAES).

Management of the Erasmus+ and Europass Program

Management and implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education and training, including mobility, scholarships, partnerships and national coordination of the Europass Initiative.

Recognition of Foreign Degrees and Diplomas

Coordination and technical support for the recognition processes of foreign higher education degrees and diplomas, including support for the Commission for the Recognition of Foreign Degrees and Diplomas; management and coordination of the ENIC/NARIC Portugal Center;

Internationalization of Education and Training

Supporting the internationalization of institutions through partnerships, networks, external promotion, and strengthening international attractiveness.

Network and Training Offer Management

Management and technical analysis of institutional processes, registration of study cycles and training programs, and dissemination of information with technical support to higher education institutions.

Academic Documentation Management

Safekeeping, preservation, and issuance of academic documentation relating to closed higher education institutions.

Legal Support

Technical and specialized support to the government official responsible for education and to the services and entities in the area of higher education, and coordination of the interpretation and harmonization of specific legal regimes and procedures, in conjunction with the DGAEP (Directorate-General for Public Administration and Employment).
