National Entrance Examination for Higher Education 2026
The application for 1st phase of the National Competition for Access to Higher Education (CNA) for the school year 2026/2027 takes place between July 20 and August 6, 2026, and must be carried out exclusively through the online application platform of the Institute for Higher Education, IP.
The National Access Competition is the main route to entry into public higher education, allowing candidates to compete for up to six pairs institution/study cycle, listed in order of preference, according to the number of places available for each course and institution.

Before starting the application process, it is recommended to consult the Application Guide, as well as verification of all necessary elements, including possession of a valid access password, The entrance exams, prerequisites (where applicable), and other required documentation are available on the platform. Candidates who do not yet have an access password can request one in advance through the platform itself.
